On July 4th Shaan asked me to marry him! I had NO idea at all that he had a ring let alone was going to ask me. He got tickets to the Real Salt Lake soccer game and it was a blast. We sat on the second row next to all the CRAZY fans that were all dressed up singing and dancing and screaming the entire game. They made it even more exciting! lol. After the game was over Shaan and I decided to go sit up closer to the top where they were going to light the fireworks off. We went and got some churros and sat up top right below where they light the fireworks off. I finished eating my churro and they started the fireworks. I layed down on his leg and we watched for a couple minutes until he asked if I would sit up. Then he asked me to stand up so we could watch the rest standing. He put his arms around me and we watched the fireworks go off for another couple minutes and then he turned me around and starting kissing me. I thought, this is kinda weird....but ok I like this. Then he stopped and grabbed my hands and knelt down on one knee.....at that point I started to freak out thinking is he really purposing?? Holy crap! Then he asked if I would marry him and pulled out the ring. I was so excited I was shaking and crying and saying yes of course over and over again. That was the greatest night of my life! Now theres just a few more months until we tie the knot.....May 3rd!!
